Our dedicated Golden Age Team is committed to improving services and information for the over 60s in Fenland.

We bring a range of services to Fenland's villages, through our Golden Age Fairs and regularly visit the Market Towns with Golden Age Events through our Fenland @ your service shops in Chatteris, March, Whittlesey and Wisbech.

Golden Age Partner Event Notice Board

Date: The group meets on the 1st Thursday of the month

Event:  Breatheeasy Fenland

Description: Breatheeasy Fenland is your local patient support group for anyone affected by lung disease. Breatheeasy Fenland aims to provide information & support to patients, family, and friends

Event: A Home Fire Risk Check
Description: “Although many older people won’t consider themselves to be vulnerable, sadly it’s a   fact that you are at a greater risk from fire if you are over 75.

 A Home Fire Risk Check. A working smoke alarm, combined with an understanding   of how to reduce your risk and what to do if a fire breaks out, can offer all parties peace of mind”

Golden Age Fairs

Golden Age Fairs bring services and information for the over 60s to Fenland villages. You will find a broad cross-section of services including the police and fire services, Age Concern, CAB, Alzheimer's Society, St John Ambulance, energy advice, benefits information, sport for the over 60s and many more.
